I see Julie now gets to share the lead role and the 'Now Finally' segments with Mark.

Trevor used to do everything himself and it felt like Julie was just his assistant. It's much better now... and have you noticed how Julie actually smiles and has a laugh more with Mark?

Speaking of Trevor does anyone think we've seen the last of him on News at Ten? Or will he return to present a couple more bulletins and then depart? Seems strange that he was in the US for the Democratic Convention but is nowhere to be seen during the Republican Convention coverage.

I Think Trevor Should Just Leave Now News At Ten Is So Much Better With Mark And Julie.

A funny thing I've noticed, on Monday NaT started at 10pm on the dot, tonight it was 9.59pm!

Better than 2 or 3 minutes past like it usually is.

Eh?? I manage to see NaT nearly every night it's on (yes, I lead a hugely exciting life...) and it's started at spot on 10pm - not a minute early, not a minute late! Are you sure your clocks are right?

Well it was the Virgin EPG that had it as 21:59, still better to see it start on the dot, like the Evening News.

Anyone see the cringeworthy joke by Mark at the end of the NaT tonight?

I thought you were implying that tonight's was the only edition that started on time... yeah I think the same time was displayed on the Sky EPG too. It generally starts around that time anyway!

They announced that Elbow had won the Mercury Music Prize, so Mark said we a warm hand to Elbow, or something on the likes of that.

Funny thing was it took about 5 seconds for Julie to get the joke..

According to the Sky TV Guide, Trevor's back, presenting with Mary tonight. Strangely it says he's presenting with Julie for the remainder of the week.

Not long till he leaves for good then - no doubt many here will be pleased! I know it's been said billions of times before but I really think someone like Bill or James or even Alastair is more deserving of the job than Mark. I used to like him but he really comes across as arrogant, not really wanting to be there.. anyone else?
