It would probably be better if the "at TEN" was underneath the "NEWS" so it would fit in one square - would mean they could put it on the astons too (and raise the "itv" box to line up with the "NEWS", and would also make for a better social media icon.
I didn't really care for the music or the new titles from the preview posted on Twitter earlier, but in HD they're both actually very nice. They must be different audio files as the title music broadcast tonight sounded different from that in the preview as far as I can tell, and was all the better for it.

The one on the video on Twitter and the one used tonight at 10pm is the same one. I'll check a certain website to see if it's on there.
Lessons learned from Daybreak it seems. Much better to have a soft launch that doesn't attract too much publicity to bed in your new format and presenter before going for a proper relaunch a few months later. Probably why they chose to relaunch a week after Peston debuted too.
Although this isn't exactly a big shouty relaunch too - a few bits and pieces in the media pages but no promo campaign to speak of. It has meant all of the people here who said they wouldn't watch again after Tom's debut have dipped in three months later though.
It does seem deliberately low key but it's going to take more than this to change viewing habits. I'm surprised that there is no cross promotion for News at Ten during the evening, no promo's in the Evening News, in the last 9pm hour ad break or backed up with a print advertising campaign. It's as if it's really stand alone and detached from the schedule.
They obviously want to attract an audience that doesn't watch ITV, but I don't know how they will reach them.
Well, I'm totally underwhelmed. Whoopie, new titles and remixed tune. Studio looks as boring as ever. Presenter as dull as ditch water. Nope, I'll stay with the Beeb.
In terms of relaunches, I wouldn't even call that subtle - it was pointless.
Tom Bradby makes Huw Edwards look exciting. I agree with one previous poster about the fact he can't wrap up the programme with a straightforward "And finally..." piece.
Don't ITN realise that no matter how much tweaking and tarting of a CGI set they do, it's the content that people want - plus a proper newscaster like Alastair Stewart. I wonder which programme Big Al watches sitting at home with his cigarettes and glass of red?
I notice they're using the variation of Global Broadcast (the ITV News theme) from the "master tape" rather than a complete revamp by Dave Hewson, although it does sound like a bit more bass has been added. I shall go compare...
Thanks for posting this video. I was going to watch the bulletin on the Vimeo channel, but the thousands of clips, reports and bulletins posted there have gone.

Yeah I think they may have noticed me (and others) posting the Vimeo account on here.
