The same pre-match too - could just about understand a 45 minute build up for an England game but half an hour would be enough tonight.
Got caught out with the Evening News airing 15 minutes earlier
.
You could have caught the Evening News at 7:15 on ITV+1 if you wished to do so. You can also watch reports on the ITV News website.
I just went elsewhere - ironically a recording of the Lunchtime bulletin that had been uploaded by a member here to Youtube.
Julie Etchingham, the deputy presenter of news at ten?
I was referring to the books containing the Chilcot report. When a publication is printed in the form of more than one book, each book is a volume of that publication.

I'm delighted to see Noreena Hertz. She's brilliant!
Can't say that I see the point in having tonight's edition anchored from Westminster - especially as you can barely tell that's where they are. It's almost pitch black, you can just see a few cars in the background.
Coming live from Downing Street like last night would make much more sense.
Is there ever any point in any news programme coming from outside Westminster. It sometimes makes sense with the live news channels as they can get easier access to MPs on a fast moving day but generally speaking on the main bulletins there is no wish to speak to passing MPs live on air, so apart from the newsreader being able to talk directly to the political editor/correspondent (which happens in the studio on News at Ten anyway) there doesn't seem much advantage. It certainly loses it's impact when it feels like half the news bulletins since the referendum have been from Westminster anyway.
I do agree that at least Downing Street makes much more sense - that's where the big story is (Larry the cat is staying after all), and also it's a bit more of a controlled environment than Westminster thanks to no general public access.
