Sorry to drag this up from over a week ago, but I feel compelled to request confirmation that he actually said that.
Not watched for months, so switched to STV+1 to see Brady introduce the report, speaking about "elections in Austria - the country that gave
us
Adolf Hitler..."

Having started a thread on this on Digital Spy, I've learned (for the benefit of anyone who doesn't already know) that it's Lord Carlile.

Rageh said that six Irishmen were "wrongly framed" for the Birmingham bombings. There's no such thing as "rightly framed".

I don't know - if it's to get a known thug off the streets for a crime they didn't commit (having been unable to convict for the numerous they did!) it could be considered such.
You'd be perverting the course of justice if you did that. Do you not think that saying "wrongly framed" implicitly condones an illegal act? I don't believe that was Rageh's intention but it was a poor choice of words on his part.
Rageh should have said "wrongly convicted". There's a lot of mistakes being made on News at Ten. Two weeks ago, Tom referred to "Yazidi Christians". But the Yazidi faith is a religion in its own right. On another night, the London regional news credits appeared at the end of News at Ten.

I didn't record it, but it did happen. Some people tweeted their surprise too.

I wouldn't take it seriously. Tom probably said it in jest.

It was extended on Tuesday as well but it never had a commercial break...
Because NAT is extended because of the analysis of tonight's EU Referendum debate; the bulletin had a very rare commercial break under Tom Bradby's role as presenter.
