A former programme editor of mine instigated a rebrand a year or 2 ago and checked here and Digispy to gauge opinion from the anoraks.... it was all negative which they took as being a good thing!

Many of us have had emails from News Presenters who visit the forum. It's nice to know that they read along and also consider our views to be valid and noteworthy.

IIRC a while back that one of the forum members was watching News 24 and they said at one point they could see one of the newsreaders computers (or it might've been one of those screens they had above the desk) and it was showing TVForum.

i once read a bulletin on bbc world due to a technical fault. if you want a tour of the premises or studios i can arrange it for you.

If you were speaking to me, I'd really appreciate that - however, I have been in contact with someone at BBC News and I was told to email nearer the time.

Interesting that there is quite a few staff members from various organizations here. Smile

Dr Lobster* arranges for private tours all the time, and they are very reasonable at £2,500 per hour.

I'm sure the lady you spoke to will offer you the discounted rate of £2499.99.

Kind regards,

Sue (right knee tremble) Lawley.
