What is your age group?
A. Just under 16
What type of Television programme would you most like to watch?
A. News
How would you like Television programmes to be delivered in the future?
E. Other - I think some kind of mix of everything would work well. News shows should be live or regularly updated. Sport should be live. But entertainment and magazine shows should be on demand.
What type of news do you most enjoy, or for a better word do you find most interesting and need to know?
G. Other - A mix of both home and world news and politics.
What makes you filter between different broadcasters in terms of choice when watching the news? i.e. most of the channels report on the same kind of news but why do you personally choose one channel over the other?
I prefer RTE News (Ireland's Beeb), BBC News 24 and Channel 4 News. I think other channels put too much emphasis on tabloidy entertainment news etc to attract viewers.
Which news / current affairs programme of recent times have you most enjoyed / not enjoyed?
A. Newsnight - It has just the right mix of serious news and discussion and interesting topics. It's presented in an interesting way.
How long should features be before you're likely to get bored and turn over?
It depends on my interest in the topic and the importance of the topic. For example, sometimes I think interesting topics on News 24 etc should be discussed and analysed for longer. But when Anna Nicole Smith died, Fox News's coverage was ridiculous. The very most we needed to know was that she was dead - they didn't have to spend half an hour going through the contents of her fridge!
What types of new exciting features would you like included in your most ideal of regular news shows? Anything you like, cost is not an issue!
My own segment
What is the role of TV in today's media landscape and how do you see it surviving well into the 21st century? unsure
Do you think a good idea would be to develop a news magazine programme based on the traditional school newspaper format?
C. Maybe - it depends on the content and how it's presented. Every year my school produces a magazine and loses money on it so I dread to think what a video version would look like!

even spookier is that the last three digits of the bus number match the digits on the number plate!

Are you in your first or second year with Media Studies? It's just im in my first year which is AS, and i don't think you do a project/assignment just yet.
JA
Depends on the exam board. Usually there is a choice of projects to do. In my AS year I picked: create a website for a new band. This year I should be doing a music video woo
