When is Sophie Raworth returning to the Six? Someone said it was mid-November so this would be the 15th I think. Bill and Sian will present the Six next week. So will Sophie be back together with George the week after?

I heard that Sophie is also going to the Ten in February!!

Other notable changes to presenter formats in the last couple of days:

Anita McNaught has temporarily left the BBC. She is no longer presenting on BBC World, but is reporting as Middle East Correspondent for TVNZ

Nisha Pillai is to feature more regularly on The World

Kirsty Lang will feature more regularly across BBC World's news output, and not just on The World

CNN London's Hala Gorani has relocated to CNN HQ in Atlanta and is now presenting weekend bulletins from there. One can only imagine that she will graduate onto mainstream bulletins, such as Your World Today.

CNN Atlanta's Monita Rajpal is now temporarily based in London, co-anchoring CNN Today and World News Europe

CNN Atlanta's Rosemary Church is thought to be following Monita's stint.

BBC World used weekday presenter Lindsey Brancher on BBC World News Bulletins this weekend, following the departure of Anita McNaught.

I think someone on here said Sophie is back on Tuesday but don't quote me on that one.

I doubt. I think Sian will now take a longer holiday as she hasn't been on holidays since March or April.
BTW We got Bill and Sian on tonight's Six. Must have been a short decision because Bill said at the end of Friday's Six that George would be back on Monday.

I think Sophie will return tomorrow as Sian said at the end of the Six this evening 'See you soon', compared to the normal 'I'll be back tomorrow with...'.

Makes sense for Bill to do tonight, maybee George will return tomorrow to do the first Six, with Sophie's return.

Already posted this on the 'Sophie' thread, but according to next week's Radio Times, Sophie is off next Monday (It's George + Sian), considering she wasn't on yesterday, I'm wondering if it's a regular thing. If so, I'm pleased, I like Sophie, but would hate to see Sian go!

Giles Dilnot (sp?) the former BBC South East Today front man was seen as a reporter today for The Daily Politics.

Maybe they could have Sian and Sophie - like on Sky News!

Do we know who's doing the Six tonight? George & Sophie or Bill & Sophie?

Well the announcer said George and Sian, but it's Sophie. I wasn't looking at the screen and thought Sian must have a heavy cold as her voice was lower!
