This was the moment the incident with the custard pie happened Live:

Sky News: http://www.twitvid.com/1NFS9

CNN: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJxYgKWQWYA

BBC News channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dAMFvArd3xs

I got the feeling that it caught them all off guard somewhat, the BBC stayed on that odd paint blob for a while and then the correspondents were a little unprepared. Their webstream stayed on the feed from Portcullis House for a while along with tone and audio ident

I agree.

BBC World News are taking the BBC News at Ten tonight with Huw live outside Westminster.

Edit: They were at the start, but have now handed to Mike Embley back in N8.

May be worth mentioning that the Daily Politics stayed on air to 6pm.

I wonder why they ended at 6pm. There is nothing topical in the schedule until 9pm so they could have quite easily carried on until the end, which I imagine will be well before 9pm.

Maybe it was deemed that BBC One, BBC Two, BBC News and BBC Parliament all carrying coverage was a bit much - leaving people with just CBBC and CBeebies as BBC output to watch if they didn't want to watch it?

according to Piers Morgan he called her a liar during the interview and she made allegations against him which she wouldn't say on air which Piers took exception to...

Capture Cards at the ready please!

That's a little about Piers defending himself but we'll have to wait to see the Situation Room programme tonight.

To be fair, BBC Parliament was covering other matters live in the House of Commons until 19:35 at which point it started showing the CMS SC from the beginning.

Is it 'Private Eye' week this week?

Wonder how up to date Hislop will be?

How come there's no satire shows on anywhere at the moment?

If 'Dead Ringers' had still been on, they would've been at it like a rat up a drainpipe!

Anyone remember the 'Hutton Report' episode?

Piers almost certainly knew about phone hacking during his time in Fleet Street

If he wasn't complict in the practice I would be very surprised, and how CNN would deal with that if he was would be interesting

Conduct their own investigation? Piers was refferred to a couple of times during the committee sitting today, even as 'CNN's celebrity news anchor'.
