News Grid on Al Jazeera

Just saw the tweets from AJE launching a new interactive Newscast from Doha tomorrow. Brand new set. Looks to be highly interactive and could very well be a serious rival for BBC Outside Source, which has virtually forgotten the viewer input.

I wonder where the new set is actually located in relation to the existing one?

Is Darren Jordan still with AJE whenever I have seen any promos for anything on there or read of any developments/seen the news on the channel he never seems to be round? May just be the times I tune in of course

I seen him not long ago, but just the once. It always seems to be Peter Dobbie when I tune in.

Also for this new show, it seems a bit too geeky/ gimmicky for Al Jazeera English. I hope they don't replace more news hours with this.
