They could have so easily used the same font for Franceinfo for the France 2 and 3 bulletins. France 3 certainly feels a lot more uniformed in their bulletins regionally than before.
Baby steps.

Twenty-four, I think.
From the Normandy edition, here's an example of the side screen being used for a live interview:
Wow. How many regional sets did they have and they all launched on the same day? That’s impressive.

The difference in size - Might have been because of the budget, the size of the studio and the coverage area of each France 3 region.

The France 3 regions always stuck with SD despite being in HD.
Also the desk setup for 12/13 National is different. The set stays the same.

The regional station for Paris-Île de France is based in a different building a short distance away in Vanves. I imagine the unions would have something to say about a relocation!
How could I forget the unions. Explains why some of the simulcasting seen in the UK won't be seen in France for a long time despite Macron being president.
I wonder how France 3 looks like via satellite. It's also the reason why the France 3 regions have their own Youtube channels , with some of the videos embedded on this thread.
I'm surprised Paris and network aren't sharing the same studio to be honest. Would save on crewing two different studios in the same building.

The presenter wears two lapel mics for some reason. I thought it was one.

BTW, the last time France Télévisions had a rebrand this big (in 2002, when what was then-known as France Télévision, in singular, became France Télévisions, and when La Cinquième became France 5), France 2 and France 3 newscasts looked basically the same as they did before, only with a different typeface (from Franklin Gothic, which was the France Télévision corporate font back then, to HeldustryFTV, a custom version of Heldustry for France Télévisions)

Somewhat disappointing they didn't do more to the national set. The desk looks a little out of place in all that grey and silver. Maybe adding some of that light wood paneling to the top and bottom of the walls would have helped tie it all together.
Otherwise, very nicely done. Just like with the last few looks, France 3 appears to be sticking with a more linear look while France 2 gets a more geometric treatment.

Indeed. Specifically, the new look reminds me of the one used in the mid-'00s:
