Which BBC News in particular Joan? World, News 24, Nations, Regions, 1/6/10...

And whats your opinion anyhow?

To be fair to Joan, she does state 'News Channel'... but yes, an opinion from her would be welcome.

First of all, stop calling me Joan!

And I voted for CNN.

If I were to vote again, I would now vote for Al Jazeera, it is as good as CNN.

I think Sky News edges it with Al Jazeera a very close second. I'm surprised BBC News is leading the vote though.

I think Sky News is the best of a very bad bunch. It seems to me that, especially in the UK,the graphics on the news channels have gone backwards in the last few years. The 2005 Sky News set and the BBC set prior to the current ones were far superior to the present day offerings.

Ever heard of politeness? I'm sure it was a simple mistake, plus Spencer For Hire was actually defending you!

BBC News isn't great at the minute, but SKY News' awful tabloid-newspaper-coloured graphics are hideous.

I don't think BBC News ever really gets it right, it just comes across as small compared to Sky News because of the size of their set. Yes that is shallow, but they come across as a cheap upstart and not a channel from one of the biggest newsgathering organisations in the world.

Personally I find that Sky's graphics make the channel look quite cheap due to their clunky tabloidy style, as already mentioned. I voted BBC News, though I preferred their graphics package before the relaunch.

JoandCo has mentioned this before... I'm sure that they're taking the Mick, however.
