Who's put Boris' quote in the thread description? Laughing

I'd imagine the person who started the thread.

There used to be a feature where any member could change the description, I'm guessing that was removed with the 2009 relaunch, hadnt used it in a long while

LOL. Zeinab Badawi interviewing Boris Johnsons sister who, at the end of the piece, looked at the monitor and said "oh crikey, you can see my bra!"

BBC World News.

I agree - he's been tweeting pics all evening, if you don't follow him you should.

Mihir Bhose appears more frequently on BBC News now than he actually did when he was employed by the BBC. He did a few segments earlier with Mishal Husain. Now he's on again with Ros Atkins.

Just realized today how bloody good Andrew Lindsay is!

During what times are the BBC News Channel broadcasting from the Olympic Park?

Do you mean from inside the News Channel based studio at the Olympic Park? If so, it's usually between 0900-2100, mainly for Olympic news. Other news stories are still being done from N6.

Quite intrigued by Tim today who revealed during the Coxless Pairs that he is a former rower and used to compete in events. So, there you go! Not just an anchorman, but also a sporty spice!

In fact, he clearly enjoyed the rowing in particular, going to the extent to tweeting about it. He's not a frequent Tweeter.

Jon Sopel did the " after Ennis" talking LIVE from the Olympic Stadium a few moments ago. Jon is rather good at this type of thing. He was informative, as well as ad-libbing brilliantly, conveying the mood in the stadium well.

Annita McVeigh is now broadcasting from a cupboard with two bar stools and a circular bar table.
