This is fantastic! How did they manage to get Colins right hand in my cap there? It appears to be so real..

OK, let's try and get this thread back on track (or at least, onto some kind of track) by looking at some news bloopers from all organisations including BBC, ITV & Sky, since there was nothing said in the OP that everything had to refer to Sky News. Also, if possible, let's try and save this thread from being sent to TVF heaven. I'll start by posting some random news bloopers from various Youtube clips.

Enjoy!!

I hardly think there are going to be enough bloopers let alone enough interest in those bloopers to sustain a thread dedicated to those specifically from SKY...

It's a general bloopers thread like a problem with the virtual studio on itv, a reporter getting abused during a live link, these things happen every day across the world, it might not be everyday something worth mentioning happens but it might prove to be a talking point, give it chance!

Yes in setting up the thread I didn't curtail it to being exclusively to sky. With 24 hour news across the world there bound to be daily bloopers.

A few of my favourites...

Sky News' jib camera goes for a swing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTz--TuthQg

Sky News: Harold Pinter: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5hcm-CZkKQ

Sky News: Littlejohn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=3jYffROhaqo

BBC Look East: The background bust-up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=bd6SiIkZByE

World News: Jonathan Charles and his one liner: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=endscreen&NR=1&v=loWFypHb48

News 24: James Landale and the Gallery wave: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsQW1JqOGqU

News 24: 'The wrong Guy' interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWAvHnfJsOQ&feature=related

Not really a blooper but I love Chris Eakin's comment about being narrowly beaten by Jon Snow to an RTS award: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAV56slpu8s

And finally a post from me wouldn't be the same without mention of the Barco screens, and them throwing a wobbly Wink http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z80wabFJq8U&feature=related

Jonathan Charles & the importance of punctuation:

I remember spitting my coffee out when I saw Jonathan Charles doing that LIVE.

My favorite one is not available on Yoitube. It's Martine Dennis on World, incapable of reading a story about Korean Dogs, due to laughing her head off at the hilarious story. It was a bit like the Jane Hill teacosy item.

My favourite so far is Paula Middlehurst nearly falling from her chair.

Keep up the good work with posting these screen grabs, phil94. I appreciate them. What appears on the stream during the CBS News breaks?

Yesterday it's been very intersting. During the CBS breaks you could hear Paula debating with the gallery and then it appeared that they are recording short top story and weather bulletins during these breaks. Then Paula appeared on screen again...
