Weather is pre-recorded at that time of night. The weather centre will provide a Long and a Short weather. If N24 cut the edit wrong, that's their fault, not the weather presenters.

Was anyone watching BBC news 24 last night ? When the weather came on at 1:30 (I think) the presenter (who looks as if he is only out of nappys) cocked up what he was saying, said cut and take 2 and then walked of the set. Then an advert quickly appeared? Or was I dreaming?

No, you weren't dreaming! The presenter was Matt Taylor and it was obviously a pre-recorded forecast. He got something wrong, clearly got annoyed with himself and walked off, obviously to reset the graphics.
They clearly played out the wrong version of the forecast. Quite funny though, and I suppose it's a good job Matt didn't swear when he got it wrong - it looked like he was pretty close to swearing!

Oh no, it's great when they play out the wrong version of the weather forecast. I wish I has seen that.... A couple of months ago on BBC World we saw Susan Powell singing after the forecast... simply sublime!

I'd be more concerned about an advert appearing than a badly edited weather forecast...
