First no sound, now no graphics... (July 2005)

TOTH seemed fine, 11sec of countdown, all the usual music and titles, just no tower animating back up, or name graphics. Although that was a very long headline sequence.
They didn't play out the titles using the TOG system.

Yep - it was before as well. I like it, although I'm not sure the bed works that well going on that long. Unlike the old BBC World one, which was lovely.

Anyway, it's odd the graphics have been broken for such a long time, as well. And if they can get the LIVE bug up, surely they can put a few name captions up?

They can using the Big Ted graphics system, that's how the live aston is appearing.

the bed actually started again, then continued if you know what I mean.

No the actualy file, mp3, cd, md, does that, it goes odd at a point then restarts.

So the TOG system hasn't been working since 2 and a half hours ago, bloody hell. Shocked

Vamp Sample Although I know it's there, I've never heard it go on long enough to air before.

I do hate the news 24 headline theme. Compared to the fab 2002 World bed it has no pace, no tune and is just dull and loses your attention. It's whiney.

Ooo that was odd.. partway through a NASA report the tower animated on, causing the video to fade out leaving just black and a tower. Seems play-out and graphics are conflicting

Oh dear it seems the problem is serious, I wonder if we will see a return of the old TOG?

no need to worry all is back to normal

well it was for a few mins now we just have Ticker and Tower
