But good on you for trying to deflect attention away from your childish behaviour by suggesting that I'm just resurrecting an old grudge. Can't say that's any more mature than your original actions, but I guess we can't expect much more from you at the moment. Shame you can't face the futile stupidity of whining on and on about something that other people are enjoying but which doesn't revolve around you. I pity the fool who ever invites you to a wedding.

And I stand by telling you where to go, because you've already expressed your disgust over the ongoing discussion here, so an obvious solution to end your angst would be for you to simply fúck off, and stop ruining the fun for everyone else.

If they want to talk about problems with the News24 graphics on Doctor Who, then let them. If you disagree Uncle Bruce, then fine - you disagree, but it doesnt mean a long argument has to be spread out over 4 pages long. If you dont care about such a topic, then surely you'd just drop it and not bother contributing.

It wasn't me that dragged out the arguement, Kaplinsky. I'm happy to let it lie, but certain other people seem insistant on insulting me. To be honest, their behavior neither bothers or surprises me.

Well whoever is continuing to drag it out should drop it and get back to the subject. It really is annoying trowling through pages and pages of crap, wanting to read about the subject and finding that there is nothing but arguments. Thats why theres a topic title. If you like the sound of the topic, you click it, if you dont, you leave it.

The fact that you have added nothing to the thread since your first assertion that the topic wasn't worthy of discussion only lends weight to the belief that the only reason you keep contributing is your arrogant presumption that because you find something of little interest therefore everyone else must share that opinion.

Why don't you just give the thread a wide berth if it offends you so? Why keep returning if you have nothing to add to the discussion itself, if not to make the point that everyone in here is oh-so-sad for discussing something which you see as banal and irrelevant? You've already said it's something which is unlikely to be of interest to most people outside of the Forum; you've made your one and only point, which most of us agreed with. But then most people couldn't give a toss about idents and news programme titles and countdowns anyway. Why is it acceptable to discuss those topics but not this one?

You've made your point very clear. You find this boring, you don't understand why anyone would want to discuss it. We all know where you stand on this. So how about you just stop coming into the thread trying to vindicate yourself, and leave those of us that want to discuss such apparently tedious minutiae to do so?

You walked right up to the beehive and whacked it with a stick, and now you seem to be surprised that the bees are a bit píssed off. I can't honestly grasp how you can be so incredulous that people are insulting you when the only reason you've come in, and you keep returning was to stir up trouble. Doesn't take a genius to work out that that's a pretty good way to get yourself stung.

Off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure it was from the Breakfast sofa. It was on screen much more briefly than the N24 scenes were.

Incidentally, I can't remember if it was mentioned, but there was a brief bit of the Angela Cannings drama a few weeks ago which came from the Breakfast set itself. We didn't see the presenter properly; Angela was standing by one of the cameras, and the sofa area and presenter were seriously out of focus behind her.

I'm not surprised that you, the little tiny bee, are a little annoyed - it seems typical behavior from you to act like the 'big man' in these threads, and the people I've spoken to aren't surprised at the way you're acting either.

Your hilarious jibe about my "GCSE metaphor" would have been that much more amusing if you'd passed GCSE English Language - 'misaprihention' is not a word; 'misapprehension' is.

I act like the "big man" because I clearly am as far as this issue goes. No-one particularly appreciated you coming in and stirring up trouble for the sake of it, and when people dared to actually point this out, you got píssed off. Had you genuinely had no intention to stir things up, and if you truly didn't care what was said about you or against you, you would have walked away without further ado. Sadly you weren't "man enough" - since we're using such empty colloquialisms - to walk away; you obviously either felt threatened, or you just decided to stay to cause trouble. Neither of these is particularly conducive to being the "big man" really, so I'm quite happy to assume that role.

I have to say it pleases me that I've vexed you so greatly that you've felt it necessary to relieve your angst by discussing it with other members. I'm genuinely surprised that all these people who think so little of me haven't spoken out and told me what they think of me personally; certainly I've found that virtually everybody here is pretty ballsy, and very few people are so timid as to shy away from telling another member what they think of them, so I can't possibly understand why they've all decided to choose this moment to take a vow of silence.

However, I'd be most excited if you could convince all these enemies of mine that you've hunted down to drop me a few lines of vitriol to let me know where they stand. Until then, the fact that you think I'd somehow be hurt or upset because you've been gossiping about me, and apparently found some people who think that its typical of me to point out when someone is acting like a complete and utter *****, is as amusing as it is ridiculous.

Some people may well want to say "Physician, heal thyself" when they see me highlighting the pathetic and petty actions of utter arseholes such as yourself, but while I don't profess to be perfect, at least I don't make it my mission to ruin the fun of others because they're enjoying something I find unengaging, when it's far easier to just let them enjoy it, and walk away. And however much of an arsehole anyone may think I am, the fact that I'm not bitter enough to deliberately spoil everyone else's good time makes me a far bigger man than you.

What good is this going to do?
You're both as bad as each other - all though BBC LDN is trying to get back on track in the end your just contributing to the problem of pointless argument about the fact that this subject is, in Uncle Bruce's opinion, 'boring'.
We're all sick and tired of this and if you'll excuse me some people, amazingly, are actually interested in News 24 on Doctor Who.
