News 24 Breaks into BBC One

I tuned in at about ten thirty to see News 24 on BBC One, I Know there is a scheduled news special at noon on BBC One. Does anybody know what time this programme began and if it broke into a programme or into a programme junction

ITV1 has now gone into a News Channel simulcast with Alastair Stewart.

ITVNC graphics in use, minus DOG and ticker.

The gun battle started about 10:05am, so I would imagine it was a short time after.

The EPG on DTT shows the ITV1 "Special News Bulletin" carrying on till 11.30

It went on air at the end of Garden Invaders (at 10.30)

i cant see this finishing at 11:30, Shame channel 4 news cant provide coverage

BBC1 and Itv 1 have extended their coverage till 12:30pm on the epg

BBC finished their NEWS24 coverage on BBC 1 at 13:00. Follwed by One oclock news.

Neighbours is now on BBC1 at 13:40. Coverage still continuing on BBC News 24 though.

Just spotted this too. Leaving ITV as the only terrestrial channel carrying this. No on-screen reports at all on BBC1 now... Never thought I'd see the day

BBC One Coverage now resuming with Jane and Matt...

I wonder if BBC1 will decide to stick with the coverage or revert back to Murder She Wrote (is that programme really apt after such an event???)
