Granada North West Today
MIllbank cover has become more common across the regions. All of the network presenters and Helen Plint have covered pres shifts across the ITV regions. Sometimes it's two at a time covering northern and southern regions.

I wonder if they will ever recruit a new regular presenter for Granada or if they will continue as they are pooling resources?

A bauble appeared on the graphics with Manali Lukha's forecast after News At Ten tonight. Slightly premature to be running the Christmas Weather graphics.

When’s the time Christmas stuff rolls out in the UK? Generally December 1 or if the Thanksgiving Holiday comes late in the US the Monday after.
Don’t let anyone treat you like you’re a VO/SOT when you’re a PKG.

It varies depending on what it is, for something like the weather it’d usually be only a few days before Christmas.

The BBC News won’t see a Christmas tree in the background until much closer to Christmas, and then any Christmas graphics on the news endcap would be limited to just late Christmas Eve and Christmas Day only.

BBC Breakfast don’t have a tree up yet as they see themselves more of a serious news programme than GMB that is already like a grotto. But the Christmas opening titles won’t appear until Christmas Eve and will only run for a few days.

GMB seem to have blocked out almost every shot to include at least one Christmas tree. No escaping it there.
