And in the case of this bulletin I think it might have been coming from Salford. I wonder whether that means the graphics are prepared by a producer in London or by Simon up in Salford.
Although that wouldn't have helped here as it was a screen rather than a CSO, as a fair few of the NC forecasts are (along with those during the 1 and 6pm news).

True enough, although on the 1 and 6 the Director/Vision Mixer can change what is on the screen. Hadn't realised this particular forecast was from Salford though.

Is that a new presenter on the BBC?

Guessing from the time you posted, you're referring to Lucy Martin - she has been with BBC Weather since 2015.

Crumbs! I've never spotted her until now.

At the end of the lunchtime bulletin on South Today today, David Allard said that it was Holly Green's last forecast on BBC. She is off to ITV Meridian to replace Simon Parkin.
On the subject of former BBC weather presenters as I was, whatever happened to Helen Griffin (Bargman) and Mike Morrish? Another favourite of mine was Carl Tyler on TVS/Meridian.

I see that the Met Office record their Saturday morning web forecast before 5pm on a Friday afternoon. Here's Alex Deakin telling us how cold it is feeling "this morning" tomorrow, but thankfully "tomorrow" - Sunday - will be a bit warmer later....

I'm sure it changed to that when STV starting taking SSE as the sponsor instead of their own.
A minor change, I notice the intro to the ITV National Weather now refers to it as "The National Weather" rather than "The ITV National Weather"

At least they're still providing the ultimate weather sponsor cliché... 'whatever the weather'.

To be fair she was a weather presenter in the North West region, I think she's only been on nationals for a few weeks, along with Alina Jenkins.
