N6 does not yet have Viz; thus, is not yet using N24 style animation or design...
Bless you Moz! sometimes wonder where they'd all be without your...translations

well the national news could have used the standard News 24 graphics, but they chose not to - is this down the the graphics playout system, or just a choice.
I dont think BBC London will give up it's diagonal stripe motief...

It would be good if they could use titles like the nationals do now, but with a map of the region and images reflected in the "globe". Also remixed music.

No no no! Spotlight has only just got its lighthouse back again (even if far inferior to the original) - standardised astons OK, titles no.

Same with BBC Sport - they standardise every three or four years, and by the time the next set of graphics come along, each individual sport's graphics have been customised until none of them resemble one another...

When BBC television news output first went "generic" in 1999/2000, "astons" etc were very standardised indeed, but eventually fell apart (esp. in regional news), to become the current mish-mash.
I'm glad that they're gonna try and standardise it all again, but the cynic in me doubts that it will last many years before falling apart again.

So BBC London can expect the changes to start appearing on Monday? Or should the article read that the graphics will be rolled out in London over the next month?
I have the feeling that the graphics will not all change at once, as the article also suggests a soft launch, so could the two systems be operating together, or could the old graphics be uploaded onto the new system and replaced at a later date?

Because as they test out the system, and all the mistakes that might happen, will be more forgivable on Regional news, than on the National.
i dont see any problems on News 24 and World looks stable to me, what can possibly go wrong other then human error.

why are the BBC testing this system out to regions, they should install Virtz in N6 first, then pass it on to regions!
