Not sure, but last I heard was that ABC overtook NBC for first place, and CBS is still last with Katie Couric.
Also, I read somewhere that NBC went HD (1080i) in March. I believe all the rest are in 480i and 4:3. I think several local stations are in HD however.

How is the US network news ratings battle doing at the moment?

To my knowledge, NBC is the only National News programme in HD, with the rest still in SD. A lot of the local news programmes are in HD however, especially in big cities.

I can't see local news here ever being in HD - and can't see it happening to the national news for a good few years yet. I'd say only Sky News would be likely to launch in HD in the near future.

Something bothering me. Look at photos 2, 5 and 7 in particular. If this is the set for MSNBC, then there not much room to move around. Whilst the lighting and colour scheme looks very upmarket than the aggressive random harsh colours in use in New Brunswick at the mo, It looks far to cluttered with not much space to move around.
Is it possible that the only set we have properly seen, is the Nightly News set and the MSNBC set is being kept under wraps until next Monday?
