ZDF's satirical news programme "Heute Show" had a short (and rather pointless) spoof of the new Tagesschau studio at the beginning of its last episode.

Just one final intro version is missing, it´s the one immediately into the key pictures of the day and not with the studio shot a the beginning, as the Tagesschai of April 27.

This clip is a recording from the tagesschau24 news channel. It shows what happens between a regular tagesschau bulletin (broadcast on "Das Erste") and the tagesschau24 news.

People would probably find it more interesting than one of the BBC News Channel's countdowns.

Still think the news channel should just cut to a wide trundle cam shot of the newsroom instead of the filler, or use some BBC World News break filler slides showing what's coming up, top stories etc.

Superb from Caren, very well done! This is how TV news should be, fresh, innovative but at the same time professional.
