New studio for Germany's Tagesschau news

I think it's a mock too, but just because the Tagesschau logo doesn't have the ARD "one as a trademark" device next to it (since ARD adopted its current logo, most logos for the programs on Das Erste carry that "one" device).

Here's what Tagesschau looked like in 1977 -- this was during the hijacking of Lufthansa Flight 181:

Almost, this was Dagmar Berghoff, from 1994 to 2000!

^Another thing that should be noted: the opening theme back then was slightly different (hear the last four notes, which were changed to its current form around the year 2000).

Tagesthemen had its own version of the theme, which was still being used as a closing theme, but I'm not sure if it was withdrawn as an opening theme (in favor of the 2000-present version of the Tagesschau theme) when the current ARD logo launched (in 2003) or when they moved into their current set (in 2005).

The livestream is currently showing Tagesschau24, a rolling news channel from ARD with a new edition of Tagesschau every 15 minutes, including reports about the new set. (Some sports highlights are audio-only because of rights issues.)
