New studio for Germany's Tagesschau news

That's ironic - given that it looks to be entirely real from the screen shots. Unless they've art worked in a virtual screen, it looks as if they are going with a decent quality fine-pitch LED wall (or something of a similar function)?

Is this a genuine clip of the new intro sequence?

Well the first shot of the lovely Judith is clearly an image.

It does look like a mock, doesn't it?

Well the music is just far too funky, plus the first shot of Judith is different to the second, watch here cleavage and the bottom of her hair.

Here is a report about the new-look Tagesschau from NDR, the ARD broadcaster serving the north of Germany (specifically from their local newscast for Hamburg, the city where Tagesschau is produced):

I don't know why you'd write it off on that basis... if it's a new title sequence then surely it's possible they're going to use placeholders until it starts being used on air?

True, but the whole thing gives off the vibe of a hastily produced mock. I expect the new intro to be more elegant and sophisticated than that.
