New from Sky News

Mark Austin is to anchor Sky News at Six, as well as Sky Newshour at 5pm Monday to Friday.

Kay Burley will have a new programme: The Kay Burley Show. Weekdays from 2pm to 5pm.

You'd think they'd bring back the Live at 5 branding. Didn't think he'd be out in Washington too long and it looks like they've basically created a slot for him (presumably the 11-3 slot is shortened by an hour).

I agree - I said as much in the other thread. ISTR that when his appointment was first announced, it was said that he'd only be in Washington for a year. And it seems like they've basically brought back JT's old slot.

This sounds quite an interesting development. I wouldn't mind giving 'Sky News at Six' a try if Mark Austin in the main presenter.
