Seems like Central West were running well behind time tonight.

Bob tried to have some banter about the Cheltenham races with Steve the Sports presenter. However it seems like Bob was being shouted at in his ear to stop - which then caused him to stumble his words and go silent and then completely lose his place on the next story for Yasmin his co-presenter to have to take over talking at speed.

The report had to be cut short for the weather and then they crashed into Mary at the end.

Oh dear! Poor Bob obviously wasn’t listening out for the timings in his ear!

Surely time has come for Bob to call it a day and let someone else take over? Wesley Smith? Yes please!

Yes, he seems to be struggling a bit these days. As we discussed on page 120, it's particularly awkward to watch at times.

I wonder who will take up the Central bulletins during GMB. Yvonne Gaskill anyone?! Wink

Llewella Bailey or Arti Halai!

On that nostalgic note, whatever happened to Central decamping to a meeting room every year for electrical testing?

Not a terrible temporary space but the audio is awful!

(Bonus points for the circa 2000-2001 archive footage, it looks so aged but that bulletin is around 13/14 years old now!)
