The new NEW Central West and BBC Midlands thread

Oddly there was no ident on the West Mids ITV News Central just now and the headlines were also completely dropped. West seems to be live so guessing there might have been a last minute change.

Hannah Bechelet with the last bulletin before Christmas announcing at the end that it’s her last one for a while as she’s off on maternity leave.

Whilst over the BBC, Michael Collie popped up for a festive time appearance at an unusual slot of 4.10pm.

EMT out of action again this afternoon and taking Midlands Today - some EMT reports going out with a Midlands Today sign off.

Looks like it's an all day issue, Midlands Today mentioned the weather in the later bulletin will be for "the whole Midlands".

He meant the whole of Midlands will be covered by the national forecast shown immediately after the bulletin

Maybe, but EMT on air so whatever the issue was has obviously been fixed

Lucky devils to have Michael Collie across the whole of the Midlands!

Well known reporters Bob Hockenhull and Cath Mackie have departed the BBC.

I know that name bob hockenhull. Did he do any bulletins E.G weekend

Perhaps the odd bulletin over the decades but he was mainly a reporter.
