I wonder, if they keep all main presenters will they swap them around on the one main Meridian Tonight or use them as reporters ?


Good idea but I feel that would be too costly...wont be long now I wouldnt of thought. Ive got my ideas on whose going to get the main presenter roles.


Fred is apprently on a 2 year contract until July 2010 so would they break this hmm being part of the furniture etc ?

Go on share your ideas then ! I'm wondering wirh Gemma's part time reporting skills and pretty looks she could be a contender, saves money... main presenter and weather presenter ?!


Sadly I do feel its going to be Fred dont get me wrong I like Fred but I am a loyal wesley fan with him being MR Central South! As for main female the management seem to love Sangeeta? But maybe Debbie?


Wesley could end up going to Central, if Bob doesn't come back.


Dont think it would that simple would it? Would be lovely as Wesley is at home in the Central region which was illustrated the other week when he was back on CNWest.


Theres an outside possibiltiy though. There are rumours that Bob won't be coming back. And to me it surprises me he was going to stay through the changes, especially with everyone else around him leaving.

What's the situation on Meridian South East and Thames Valley?

In the South East we had Andy Stegall on his own. Was it really necessary to have a double anchored program when ITV are trying to save money and cut down on presenters?

I am sure he didnt get any extra for presenting the main edition and he probably jumped at the chance to present the programme!

The rumours are wrong. Bob is back on Central Tonight on the 2nd Jan.

Nothing changes until Feb you know, to have 2 presenters adds a more community feel

I'll miss Ian and Sangeeta's daily clangers assuming they have got the push
