Nothing on BBC South breakfast bulletins this morning (at least 06:25 and 06:55) regarding the serious trouble FlyBe are in. Just the usual thing of last night's 22:20 bulletin stories reheated. Given that they account for 90% of Southampton Airport's traffic, I would have expected top story.

GMB mentioned it in their ticker (it was about as much as I could bear to watch)

A late opt tonight after the Six, presumably just for South East Today. We got a full Our World trail before starting the programme as normal. Fair play to them if they deliberately waited until the end of it to seem seamless.

The ITV News Meridian studio backdrop has changed from Henley Bridge to something akin to the national look, though it’s an image of the gallery rather than CGI. Presumably to make it more pan-regional and so they don’t have to keep telling us that it’s a recording that was made before social distancing guidelines were introduced.

Yes, they reassured some concerned viewers a couple of times last week 🤦‍♂️

What's always amused me is Henley itself is in the London TV region, but hey!

Such a shame they can’t use something iconic to the regions they serve. Pre Feb 2009 the Spinnaker Tower on the Pompey waterfront was an impressive. I always found the Thames Valley backdrop of the Kennet & Avon canal running through The Oracle shopping centre in Reading pleasing on the eye too.

Henley which is just north of Reading, as well as the rest of Berkshire, where I live, we receive the west edition of Meridian, (before Thames Valley)

No, it's shielded from Hannington, Oxford, and Crystal Palace. It's served by a relay station that was built in the 70s for that reason. The relay is fed from Crystal Palace. Even FM radio reception is poor, so the relay also carries BBC Berkshire and Heart (2-Ten FM in old money)

I wouldn't say the 'rest of Berkshire' as a sweeping statement.

You can receive both CP and Hannington in quite a lot of bits of East Berkshire - but the Crystal Palace signals are usually stronger and easier to receive in places like Maidenhead, so most rooftop aerials are pointed at CP.
