It has been a while - I think it was late 2008 that the current titles were introduced, which must seem a lifetime if you're a child. Also must be about the longest any set of titles has lasted since the John Craven days (when there weren't much in way of titles to speak of!).
It'll be interesting. I wonder if the logo will change. It's been used for 11 years, nearly 12.
I still think that the set space that they have is a bit wasted being filled with the big screens. I wonder if they'd ever revisit a set like the 1997-2002 one with the perching desk in front of a large screen.
I wouldn't expect too much, inferring from the word REMIXED I assume this means it will essentially be the same theme tune, this could mean a change like BBC 1999 - BBC 2003 or just simply like BBC WN 2008 - BBC WN 2013 which were both technically remixes of the same theme although one only has an additional hold on the end. Also I'd doubt they'd change the logo as it is now synonymous with Newsround and isn't actually outdated, just like 'Big Ben' is associated with ITV News.
I wish they'd change that entire set though. It's terrible, tiny and updates would look just as good if they came from a green screen studio i.e. like at TVC.
The current theme is technically a remix/rearrangement of the original Johnny One Note theme used for the original John Craven's Newsround. Or at least has similarities to it.

That's right, the closing sting is a new version of the 80s Radiophonic Workshop one as well.
