New look ITN

Well I like it... would be interesting to see how the ITN News Channel would look were it still around.

In fact, that broadband one they have, has that changed? I haven't got a clue how to find it.

I agree. It would be brilliant if it was for some alternative Channel 4 programme or something, but not the news. Nice try though.

Good lord, it's horrendous. Any one seen the video presentation on their site? Some 'yoof' voiceover, it's awful! Respected news organisation to a bit of laughing stock (well, let's forget ITV News) is the image they give out now in my opinion

Stop being so boring and old fashioned people! If the whole of the news was like this then yes, it'd be a bit 'in your face', but it's just an endcap.

People will at least notice that ITN hasn't died altogether and hasn't been replaced by ITV News. I'm not sure the plain boring blue endcap would have done that.

It's got the new logo and new graphics - if you go onto the ITN News page of www.itn.co.uk there's a link on the left hand side - you need a Greengrass account though.

Right Content, Right Now?

Surely that must win the lamest slogan of the year award. Talking about 'content' is very much in the realms of industry jargon, and will mean sod all to the viewing public.

The new logo looks much nicer on that site - far more 'newsy'. I haven't actually watched the channel itself, though.
