I wonder if all this pissing about with endcaps and logos betrays a certain panic at Gray's Inn Road. They've spent all this money on a big revamp and it looks like it's a bit of a mess to be honest.

revamp? you mean the itv news revamp? itn is more than itv news, which i think is the point of the refreshed itn image. cant say im overwhelmed by it, but i can see the logic. itn are now producing content for mobile, internet and broadband platforms, and they want an image that reflects that.

I'm more than well aware that ITN is more than just ITV News (not that I like using the name ITV News - I'm more of an ITN traditionalist) and I was referring to the ITN revamp - not the updated set for ITV.
I imagine they'll have got some company in to do a new logo - and it'll all have sounded great on paper - but the thing just looks a bit crap now.

Okay, Hymagumba, how does somebody having a different personal opinion (i.e. liking an endcap that the overwhelming majority hate) make them a "troll"? (indeed, what is that label supposed to mean, exactly? - it's obviously negative by implication, but I don't actually "get it"
