New look five news at 7

Oooh, new look five news at 7 just started, tweek theme tune, studio and bench.

Also interesting to note that Isla was standing up! I thought they'd scrapped all of that business.

The set has been tweaked though, a big '7' on the right corner, part of the sofa taken away aswell.

The theme tune is a bit rocky I thought! Quite nice.

Take it 5pm was still the previous look...and this is the move to differentiate the 2 shows?

Apparently so, Five News At 7 will be more male themed if that's possible.

Although I'm watching Hollyoaks I'm guessing Five News At 7 will be the usual News with a tad of The Gadget Show thrown in.

Well they have a "commentator" who will be there throughout the programme, strangely enough, to comment on things, or at least tonight anyway. Tonight's is Dominic Holland.

I flipped it on a few minutes ago and they were scouring YouTube for the funniest clips, very Newsworthy....

Hmm...seems like an idea from the old Scott Chisholm Show on the ITV News Channel...also, seemed a bit One Show like!

An iffy show , I cant believe the different incarnations the 7pm has gone through from the sublime to what it was between Feb and Aug this year. It's content is lighter than anything I've seen on FN before so i'm unsure if its for me.

Isla , i was fascinated by her hair and her interesting teeth. I think she can do this style well once she's 'au fait' with it but quirky amusing content is important to have or it will be boring.

Wouldn't it be a better idea to only use Isla for the new look male orientated 7pm bulletin, while Matt does the 5? (Natasha could also do the 5 only when she returns)
