'Caught' the webcam feed earlier and they were testing the backdrop (similar to Look North Hull by the looks of it) - obviously, it was a test but it seemed to be the same view as before over the Lace Market, London Road roundabout, Shell petrol station et al...

agreed...I'm just imagining Anne & Dom standing throughout the programme, it isn't working in my mind, but I'm looking forward to Monday...

I would think that desk would be used for sports or the 10 or 1 updates. They would , most likley, use the left of that image which appears to be a plasma screen, for the 6 show. I pray they dont use that small desk!! Cant be as bad as the London Corridor, i mean set!!!

They'll have to have a new set at some stage as they are moving to a new building very soon

MT plans to use bits of it's old set in the Mailbox - new studio doesn't always mean new set. Obviously it will have to be a bit different...but the sofa certainly will be around for a while longer.

They'll need 2 sets at some stage, they need to rehearse at the new building for a while and when they actually move they won't want to be moving and installing set at the last minute

According to the Midlands Today thread, MT will be decamping to the Pebble Mill conservatory during the final stage before the move.

London can just about get away with the "bar" but that honestly looks like they're sitting at a door handle.
