Not sure when this happened, but TV3 in Ireland has made some fairly major changes recently. It looks like it happened on the 27th March.
Gone is the old virtual studio which has been pretty much standard for many years on TV3, and they are now in a real studio set, which doesn't look that large, not much more than a corner of a studio. The studio is blue and white on TV3, and dusky pink and white on Be3, which fits in the colour schemes on both channels. There are two presentation points, one at the desk, and a stand up point where the sport is done. There is also a point where a guest can join the main news anchor.
The programme names have changed again. The 12:30 and The 5:30 have become 3News at 12:30 and 3News at 5:30 respectively. This brings them into line in naming terms with the bulletins on Be3, which are named 3News at Seven and 3News at 10:00.
The title sequences on TV3 have changed slightly, though the theme hasn't. The theme to the Be3 bulletins is different to the TV3 ones.
I would add pictures, but for some reason, I can't.
