that backdrop reminds me of the naff backgrounds that used to be keyed on behind the CA's back in the 1980's.

Yes, you can imagine dear old Michael St John "twinging" his way up to midnight in front of that, can't you?

Does in a way Smile. I still like it though - interesting in the construction shots how much smaller the studio looks with the window turned off Very Happy

What is the image played off? Is there such thing as a three-day Beta cassette?! Or is it played off hard disk of something?

Unlike Points Wests shot of Bristol as least ITV West have a nice shot of a spectacular display of architecture which represents the whole of the South West.

No it doesn't! That bridge is a BRISTOLIAN landmark - and talking as someone who has lived near Swindon for most of his life, I can tell you that bridge has no association whatsoever with that area. IKB has a huge association with Swindon, but not for the Suspension Bridge.

Spot on. I'm looking forward to someone drawing a Christmas tree in the corner later this year.

I'd also quite like to know what happens when the weather changes? Chucking down with rain? Don't worry! HTV has some nice sunny-day pictures for us all to look at.

What did that sign on the Wooton Bassett newsroom wall say?

"Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story".

Or another popular news organisation ... "never wrong for long" ... or at least, so I was told.

Is the camera not set up, or is their set beginning to fall apart already? That's lop-sided Rolling Eyes

Very Happy

Seems to be a bit of both - the camera doesn't seem to be bubbled up as the vertical poles aren't, well, vertical - and the monitor also seems to be lopsided between the two poles!

Good observation - no doubt it would've been noticable at least after a second viewing, whatever about daily!

Or indeed, what happens when the season changes? Those nice bushy trees in full-leaf will look great in January.

............................as the Bath Road studios of ITV West slowly and silently slide down the bank and into the River Avon.

if it did go underwater it might be a good thing. When Boredom was flooded they broke with tradition and provided a competant and good news service that provided everyone with news. Although it was still Carlisle centric. Heaven forbid Galashiels be flooded. "Coming up later, Gala is underwater but first news of a lost sheep in Workington"
