New ITV News Logo - Any ideas?

Hi I am new on here, so apologies if this is the wrong place to post this thread.

Does anyone know what the ITV News logo will look like?

looking good, I see the greeny teal colour from the "cashback" promo is present, I bet that will be used for straps also...

That looks like its from a press image archive...

If true, it's strange they've gone for green considering it's a similar shade to ITV4, and ITV2 is also using green (though a lime-green) scheme.

No reason why they couldn't have stuck with blue - no channel is using it, though it is the colour of the generic ITV logo.

Well they wanted to make the news warmer, and I guess teal is warmer than blue. I think it goes nicely with the yellow, this is how I imagine things may look... With the Corporate Font of course

According to RDJ's post in the Central News South thread, they've shown a preview of their new 'greeny' generic set which is to be unveiled officially on Monday and apparently includes the words 'ITV Central News'.

So it seems likely that 'ITV' could be included in the titles of all regional news programmes from Monday.

Edit: removed 'on the desk' - just re-read his post and he didn't say that - I obviously imagined it.

They should not have gone for the same style as the channel logos. They should have had the logo without the curled boxed.

Does anyone know if another preview will be shown, or is there somewhere to watch the bulletin online.

Last night's programme is on the ITV Regional News Browser, but the preview is at the end of the programme, and the video ends in the middle of the weather just before the preview.
