ITV London Tonight

Who presented tonight's late bulletin? I haven't seen her before.

I cannot remember her name but she's presented the ITV Morning News many times.

I never watched tonight, but was it maybe Charlene White?

There is a dizzying number of people presenting the LT bulletins at the moment (tonight it's Alex Hyndman from Setanta).

Clearly the bosses at LT doesn't give a fig about continuty.....espeically when it's generic type blondes like Faye Barker or Jacky Kabler who might also turn up overnight on ITN etc. They do nothing to build the LT "brand"- if there still is one, that is.

Are there any bosses at LT anymore? Isn't it just another ITN / ITV News output managed by that team? I suspect it doesn't have much more than an Editor, and is thus not able to bang the table about such issues. I suspect cost may also play a part.

And cynically - if you are trying to axe regional news - you hardly want it to be popular...

Has LT ever had the same duo on for the whole week since ITN took over production?

It's either been Katie, Alistair, Ben, Salma or a freelancer recently.

The main reason is becasue Katie doesn't work Friday. Alistair works for a whole week most of the time. It Is only usually the female Friday presenter that is different.

So glad to hear that Katie will be presenting next week on London Tonight. It will be nice to see after what seems a life time.

I must admit that I'm rather looking forward to her return. I have nothing against Alex but I do miss Katie on London Tonight, though seeing more of her on the Evening News and News at Ten has been great. (I'm just greedy ).
