I'm sure she's presented before, probably on a Weekend shift when both London Today and the ITV News Headlines are read by the same presenter, like they are at 11.15am weekdays.
Slightly OT but I've met Lucy in person a couple of months ago and she is very friendly, got her autograph too.

Lucy is very nice. I have met her on a few occasions and she is always friendly and kind-hearted, quieter than she appears on screen actually.
I am pleased to see her doing well. I would like to see her present the ITV Evening News or even News At Ten at some stage.

Yea, it was in June, when Bill Neely co-presented the Lunchtime and/or Evening News for a 3 week period. It's good that Lucy's appearing more and more (especially at weekends.) Was strange that she didn't stay on to present the Evening News today though, and that they chose to bring Katie in.

I saw Lucy present the Evening News a few months ago, I was just saying it would be good to see her do that again.
