Interesting re-lit yellow London Tonight set for the People's Million programme with Katie Derham tonight.

It's actually the Central set for some odd reason.

You'd think it'd make more sense to do it at LT with Katie and all that but oh well...

I did wonder if it it was another region as the high shot wasn't right for ITN.

It's a funny old world - sending Katie to Brum to record a few minutes' worth of links in a set identical to the one at her main workplace.

I see London Tonight is trailing a report on its new 10.30 bulletin not shown at 6pm. Really pulling out all the stops for tonight's launch.

ITN London Tonight's set doesn't have the advance colour change facility that Central and Granada Have.

ITN has certainly re-lit the London set in the past for special programmes.

Yes, Meridian Tonight did the same thing, also highlighting the return of news at ten.

Why did London Tonight bother with the Lewis Hamilton story when it's the lead on the Evening News?

It's hardly a regional story anyway - OK, he used to live in Hertfordshire but I thought he'd left the country.

On another note - London weekday weather has a new sponsor - Yeo Valley - having been sponsorless since the New Year.

I'm surprised that they haven't got a 7-day weather sponsor by now!

Jonathan Wills is presenting tonight's Anglia Tonight (Essex, Suffolk & Norfolk edition). The intro suggested the move was permanent - can anyone confirm this is the case?
