Another pointless showbiz story once again today on the lunchtime edition. Boy George will be starting his community service in New York. The only reason for covering the story, he was born in London.
At least the guest was funny by accidently swearing!

That story's everywhere - it was one of the main items on Capital FM this afternoon!

Surprised he's only 54, I would have guessed coming on to his sixties.
I was in the queue behind him in a newsagents, he bought two packs of Marlboro Red... he should look about 80 if he's been getting through 40 a day for the past 35 years!
Give him the 10.30... he's a gentleman, he's a pro, he's a star

Alastair's losing the plot though - amusing slip-up at the end of the show... the autocue said "about us" which he read as "about the United States". Guess you had to be watching it, really...

Alastair's busy interviewing a major politician for tonight's national ITV News - and with Tamzin enjoying a few days off - Romilly is joining us as our other presenter tonight. She's busy getting her head around the programme, so I'm writing the email this afternoon.

Makes you wonder if Tamzin's left as the showbiz reports have been filed by a new reporter.

If you are talking about the projector screen, i think it is the same size as all of the other itv regions, its just London Tonight's studio is alot bigger than Central's therefore, everything is less cramped, and the benches are further forward, meaning that when there is a shot of both presenters on the bench you can not see any of the projector screens frame, with the viewer just seeing the screen. Central have only a small amount of room, meaning there is limited camera angles, and everything seems alot smaller and cramped.
