Some caps from tonight's regional extravaganza. I wonder how long this sort of occasional regional special will survive?

Note the non-standard endcap

Well to say the least, there were a lot of problems today!
Sound failures, live links freezing, Alastair Stewart being driven out of the studio and into the newsroom. No wonder he and Nina were rejoicing when Chrissie brought some good news, namely a bit of sunny weather.

It looked like it, but isn't there some sort of 'good bye' from the presenters to show that the news has ended? We will have to watch over the next few days.

After a spell as an entertainments officere on board the QE2 Anna Maria found religion.
She is now the Press Officer for the Salvation Army - and you can see her most Sunday mornings in her uniform banging a tambourine outside Bury Town Hall.

Robin Lermitte's London News Network brolly was much in evidence on tonight's show.

Yet another pointless showbiz story involving Naomi Campbell on the late last night. The incident happened in New York for goodness sake!

Surprised he's only 54, I would have guessed coming on to his sixties.
