Phil Gayle certainly has an interesting style of delivery. I bet he's very dominant in the bedroom.

A lot's changed since he's been away
Before he went abroad he was here presenting weekend shifts on the ITV News Channel with the likes of Sasha Herriman
Now, he'll be trying to get that all important Sunday evening London Tonight presenting gig along with half a dozen other presenters!

I think he's presented the London news on the News at 10.30 a few times.

Well with NTL adding ITV1 London to the list today, I thought it might be worth having a look at it and I caught most of London Tonight, and though it doesn't surprise me in terms of content as it goes like every other ITV Regional News programme, of silly story, E-Mail's, it gets a bit annoying after a while. Though this has shown to me (not an LT regular) how annoying Katie Derham is, must she laugh at almost everything Alastair says??
Though on the Plus side, I liked tonight's report on the Anniversary of the Closure of the 'original' GLC.

I watched London Tonight this evening for the same reason and also ive been getting very bored with Wales Tonight recently. Its seems that London Tonight has even less news than Wales Tonight does but I actually enjoyed the programme a lot more. I liked the film review section, even though this technically shouldnt be part of a news bulletin.
Btw who was the female presenter tonight?
I wonder if NTL will be adding other regions or is it just ITV London?

Presumably it's been added to provide Audio Description. This has been done on both Telewest and Sky

Yup henceforth 'AD' next to the channel name on the EPG, they've added ITV1 London and Channel 4 London for Audio Description, BBC1 London has been on NTL for some time, along with the Nations.
