I first knew Carrie when she used to sell bags of shellfish around the pubs and clubs of Chorley in Lancashire in the early Eighties.
Her whelks were a speciality and even then you could tell she was destined for better things.
Wahaay !

How do you know that was her?

Nice to see Owen Thomas on the late bulletin.

There was a nice start to this aftermoon's London Today - Chris Rogers was standing to the left of the studio for the openers.

Great to see Nazanine tonight, with an evening backdrop as a pose to a dawn setting! I assume Joyce is on a week off, seeing as Owen anchored the late last night?

Nazanine was on last week too. I think they just make the late bulletin part of the overnight shift - ie
10.50 London Tonight
overnight ITV1 summaries
5.30 Morning News
GMTV London bulletins

A bit of a problem with sound on the 6.50 roundup; not only was Tamzin's microphone causing an issue, but the gallery could be heard too.

does anyone know why the weekend weather sponsorship is still being sold separately? I've just seen a 'Blueman Group' sting whilst Topps Tiles is still sponsoring the weekday forecasts.
