I think a lot of weather presenters wear "casual" lower halves, I've noticed some of the forecasters on News 24 often have smart, but not "business dress" on their lower halves.

Is it just me or is that London Tonight DOG way to far up the screen?

The London Tonight dog is that far up the screen because of the safe areas for switching to 14:9 for digital viewers. The DOG is actually further over from the right than other regions.

And Leyla Daybelge is back with today's Lunchtime bulletin

With Lucy Alexander returning to present today's bulletins. It looks like that we may continue to see some News Channel faces until the number of job losses is resolved.

I guess then, with Lucy as a prime example, that most of the NC presenters are remaining or converting to freelance work.

Another change of face in London last night, with Paul Larsmon bringing us the late bulletin.

I see Robin takes his nickname from Meridian's Fred Dinenage (he tends to call Martyn Davies and Robin "Smooth") literally with the look on his face there! Smooth Robin Lermitte! Laughing

By the way, did anyone notice the ITV London weather had no sponsor today? I know it's usually Topps Tiles (weekdays) and BMI Baby (LWT's old broadcasting times Fri 5.15 - Sunday inclusive), but perhaps the sponsorship with BMI Baby is over? Neutral

Yes, the BMI sponsorship finished at the end of 2005.

Faye Barker continues to flit between Kirkstall Road and Gray's Inn Road - she's presenting today's London bulletins.

So no more news on the old itvnc faces turning up elsewhere...

So far only Felicity Barr seems to have noticeably moved elsewhere. There have been a few rare appearances by Leyla, Faye, Chris & Owen across ITV News. Lucy has been on Sky News.

But what about the rest - have you spotted an itvnc presenter...?!

I know this has been brought up before, but any real logical reason as to why Nina is the only female presenter to ever sit on the right of our screens seems to be non-existent. It's beginning to bug me as well. Any ideas?

And do London Tonight have to have something different about their titles - before it was the side-on swoosh, now its the music is out of sync...
