LOL. Personally, no he isn't important to know. His eyes are scary. He presents BBC News 24/World's FastTrack programme.

Honestly, he doesnt look special to me. If he does his work good, then i understand, but i have never been a fan of entertainment rubbish. I apologize...oh...there is a big difference between entertainment correspondent and news 24, lol

He presented generic BBC News and Breakfast on the day of the strike, so ever since has become some sort of cult figure on this forum.

He'd be in TV Forum's Avenue of cult figures, if there was such a thing!

Thanks Andrew,

This is beyond my understanding.

Can i get something off my chest here. Does not anybody think that ITV is very Conservative English? If you look at the BBC which is very international, even Sky is more liberal.

Does anyone know the reason why Nina sits on the right on London Tonight and all other female's sit on the left?

I posed the same question here a few days ago...perhaps because she's become a bit of a senior figure at ITN now.

Noticed different titles again this evening; the headline sequence now involves a splitscreen with a reporter on the left describing their piece-to-camera with images from the story on the right. Looks a bit tacky to me.

What sort of bumper, the diamond shaped Thames News logo?

No - it was the classic Thames mirrored ident (not sure what it's called). Certainly took me by surprise. It was a nice touch.
