So it's not just a "cheap photograph" then, as some people had so typically concluded.

Yeah but, tut, you can't read along with the autocue at home with a screen projection -- how thoughtless of them.

But it is always sad when changes like these mean job upheavals and losses. And less Anna-Maria is always a bad thing.

Isn't that just a security camera? By the way, where in the building is the current LT studio? Is it in the tower block of the building, or is in the lower part at the bottom of the photo?

It's the window that is at an angle in that photo.
The window at the bottom of that photo is a canteen and the LNN newsroom is below that

No, I don't think so. It's at the right height and angle to get the same view as the current studio backdrop

Just seen a trail for "The Week" with Phil Gayle from the new studio - only the backdrop and bench visible.

Was it a trail for this Sunday's edition?

The London Tonight website is worth looking at before it disappears - I hadn't read the Station Tour before, and whilst it's a bit patronising (and out-of-date) it makes interesting reading

Also, the presenter profiles are no longer linked from the main site, but they're still there and may be of interest

Odd that people think of Christopher Peacock as a London reporter. I grew up with him reporting for TVS's Coast-to-Coast, and Southern's Day By Day before that!

Liz Wickham, Christopher Peacock and Anna-Maria Ashe were all TVS stalwarts before moving to LNN at launch ISTR.

It is a real shame if Anna-Maria is leaving our screens in London. I've always thought she was a great TV newsreader - both at TVS and LNN.

Glad that Liz Wickham is continuing at the new operation.

Anna Maria was at LWT News for a couple of years before the launch of LNN

I can just about remember Christopher Peacock and Liz Wickham from TVS though!
