ITV London Tonight

I remember people discussing how strange it would to see Nina move from BBC London to London Tonight (her eventual destination). Now it has happened, is this where she will stay? If so, Leyla has been pushed out of the picture.

We don't know, but it is probable she will stay for the time being.

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but what's happened to Katie Derham? Has she moved to the Lunchtime News full-time? Or has she gone on maternity leave too?

She's on maternity until December, as is Andrea Catherwood.

I notice Damon Green seems to have returned to London Tonight.

Presumably Nina is doing LT because she is now covering for Katie Derham while she's on maternity leave. Is she also doing the Lunchtime News? Shame they didn't get Mary to do Katie's role, Nina is much better than Mary.

Good God!! Did you read in today's Metro that Nina was mugged yesterday and that somebody held a 15cm blade to her throat and cut off her rucksack when she went out jogging along the South Bank yesterday.

Thankfully she's okay.

There's another thread about it. It happened the week before last, and it was in Saturday's Daily Mirror.

I don't understand why Alastair always sits on the right of our screen, then Nina comes along and she takes his spot. Friday comes along, she's not on, and Alastair is back on the right, with Emma Walden on the left.
