Indeed, I remember a Friday night showbiz show on LBC 1152 (before the Chrysalis move), what was her co-presenters name on that show?
The presenters changed a few times on that show. Vanessa Langford and Steve Hargrave both co-presented at times, and possibly a couple of others whose names escape me.

Oh yes, Vanessa also worked on Liquid News as well.
She also presented the first series of Fame Academy on Three which she was sadly out of her depth.

The way Paul Green just signed off ("and that's it from *me*"), it sounded like it could have been his final bulletin.
It seems that Alastair Stewart is making his first appearance on London Tonight for a few weeks this evening for the final show from the South Bank.
I think you're reading way to far into it, Paul Greene (Yes, it's Greene, not Green) will be there or he won't. I actually reckon that if he does go it will be Anna Maria-Ashe or Carrie Frase doing the morning bulletins, and one of them will probably do Saturdays as well. Nick Clark will probably work on the ITV News Channel at weekends and as a replacement for Alastair Stewart.
As for the correspondents, there will probably only be on or two changes. Sharon Thomas, Christopher Peacock, Nick Scott-Plummer, etc will probably still stay.

I may well be reading too much into it, but it was more *how* he said it than what he said. There was an air of finality about it!

Well the way that the Press Gazette piece was phrased was ambiguous, but certain names were notable by their absence from the list given.
The background is a live shot from a new camera mounted at The London TV Studios. It's displayed on a plasma screen. Looks great in rehearsals. Not so sure how it will look though when it rains and the wiper switches on !!!
I was passing the London Television Centre this afternoon so I took a detour and spotted what is presumably the new camera for the backdrop:
So it's not just a "cheap photograph" then, as some people had so typically concluded.
I do think they will retain Anna Maria Ashe for Fridays and Saturdays (when Katie is away). Katie's profile on itv.com still states that she remains on the ITV News team, and i would perhaps expect her to fill-in for Mary Nightingale.

Isn't that just a security camera? By the way, where in the building is the current LT studio? Is it in the tower block of the building, or is in the lower part at the bottom of the photo?
Sports presenter Jonathan Gould has just signed off for the last time as well, and Christopher Peacock, Haig Gordon, and Ken Andrew were introduced *very* affectionately by the hosts.
And a "thanks" from Anna Maria Ashe to all their colleagues, before they were cut off.
