At long last, ITV London has a permanant weather forecaster for our region....Brummie Chrissie Reidy!

Oh? What's been said about this?

Presumably it means a daily weather chat on the programme? Therefore even less news...

She now stands at the plasma screen and has a brief chat with Alistair and Katie before going to the green screen.

Chrissie also mentioned that she will be going "out and about" across London and the South East.

Well IIRC Becky Mantin should be doing full time on ITV by now, but I was surprised the other night when I switched over to the NC to see London Tonight, the Weather for ITV London was with Chrissie and the ITV National was Becky.

I hope Chrissie isn't getting the Katie Derham treatment by only being on ITV London and ITV1 every other week?

At the time the new weather graphics appeared it was said that the core national team would be Martyn, Sian and Becky. It looks like Chrissie has now been shunted to London weather. Where does that leave Robin Lermitte?

I wish they hadn't chosen Martyn, him being on National duty means we in the south have to have 'big' Gemma Humphries...

Robin did the ITV London forecast last Sunday.

Chrissey presented the weather again tonight!

But more interestingly was the face the male presenter pulled near the end of the bulletin when the music began and chopped him off even though we still saw him for 1-2 seconds whilst the music was playing!

It was one of the best faces I have seen 'pulled' on tv for ages!
PS Who was that presenter that presenter the late bulletin tonight?

Ah, yes - that was the presenter who pulled the ridiculous face at the end!

With Katie co-presenting the ITV Lunchtime news from Monday, is there any point having her on London Tonight?

I'd prefer to see Joyce Ohajah or Emma Walden have the co-presenters job instead.
